Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care to a young woman in the Bel Air area, helping with personal hygiene, activities, and community outings.

The role focuses on building independence and social engagement in a supportive home and community setting. The position offers 15 hours per week (M/W 4p-8p, Sun 9a-4p) with a base rate of $22/hr and a $1/hr weekend differential, plus paid training including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to participate in activities at home and in the community.
• Basic CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, daily activities, and household tasks.
• Support participation in community activities and outings.

Rate of Pay $22/hr*

We are seeking a Part Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands‑on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

Support a young woman in the Bel Air area with activities at home and in the community and home. Work on skills to increase independence at home and in the community. Activities include bowling, walking/hiking at parks, going to the library, working on cooking skills, eating out, and playing some card games.

Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.

This position is: 15 hours/ week

M/W 4p-8p, and Sunday 9a-4p

The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.

Some lift and transfer may be required.

Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!

DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:

Assisting with participation and exploration of the community

Cultivating and expanding independent living skills

Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships

Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.

Rate of pay *$22/hr.*

* Regular Base rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
