Job summary

U.S. Servico, Inc. is hiring a part-time Day Porter in Detroit, MI. The role runs two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10am to 1pm, totaling 6 hours per week.

The hourly rate is $16.00, with biweekly pay. Candidates must be at least 18 and able to follow safety guidelines while keeping client sites clean and organized. Responsibilities include operating basic cleaning equipment, applying cleaning chemicals, clocking in/out via a mobile app, and ensuring areas meet Servico's standards.

Qualifications

• High School and/or GED is encouraged.
• Previous commercial cleaning preferred; i.e., Office, Medical, Retail
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site

Responsibilities

• Use cleaning equipment if required (vacuum, floor scrubber, mopping)
• Use various cleaning chemicals
• Bend, stand, lift
• Clock in/out via cellphone app for scheduled hours
• Complete inspection reports and post pictures via app
• Clean and detail to customer satisfaction per scope
• Clean service areas according to Servico Standards
• Show up on time, every time as scheduled
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team setting or individually
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Basic commercial cleaning
• Mopping and vacuuming (possible floor scrubber)
• Detailing
• Dusting and wet wiping
• Trash removal

Description

This is for a part time daytime position. We have an opening 2 days a week, on Tuesday and Thursdays for 3 hours a day. Shift will be from 10am-1pm.

Hourly pay rate: $16.00/hr (biweekly pay)
