Job summary

Planet Fitness Seaford is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide a superior member experience in a friendly, judgments-free environment. The role includes greeting members, processing sign-ups, answering questions, and promoting fitness classes while maintaining a clean club.

The position starts at $15 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year, based on anniversary date, in Seaford, DE 19973.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Part- Time: Starting at $15 per hour. Schedule Saturdays 2pm to 7pm and Sundays 7am to 11am

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
