Job summary

Planet Fitness in Maryland Easton is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver a superior Judgement Free member experience. You will greet members, sign up and tour new members, log amenities, and keep the club clean and safe.

You will also answer phones using a script, process beverage or merchandise purchases at the POS, and promote our PE@PF fitness classes to active and new members. Applicants must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote PE@PF fitness instruction classes to our members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

HOURS

Monday- Thursday: 6:00pm-11:15pm

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members


• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
