Job summary

Planet Fitness Akron is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional member experiences. You will greet members, sign up new members, and assist with tours while handling beverage or merchandise sales at the POS. Promote PE@PF classes and maintain a clean, safe club environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are 18+, and possess basic computer skills. Competitive hourly pay, with growth opportunities and PTO for all employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
