Job summary

Planet Fitness in Rohrerstown, PA is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative. Starting pay is $11.75 per hour, with planned increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter based on the anniversary date.

Responsibilities include greeting members, signing up new members, answering phones, processing POS purchases, promoting fitness classes, and maintaining a clean, safe club environment. A high school diploma is preferred and you must be 18+ with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and sign up new members.
• Answer phones using information script and assist members.
• Log amenities and process beverage or merchandise purchases at the POS.
• Promote Planet Fitness classes to members and potential members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
