Job summary

YMCA of Dane County in Madison, WI is seeking a dedicated custodian to clean and maintain the building and exterior grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for members and program participants.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, restroom and locker room upkeep, dusting and vacuums, snow clearing, and following safety procedures; weekend and holiday availability is required. YMCA of Dane County is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning and safety procedures, including restroom sanitation procedures.
• Knowledge of safe operation of standard and/or electrical floor or carpet care, custodial equipment, lawn care equipment and ladders.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
