Job summary

YMCA of Dane County is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for members and program participants. The role covers daily cleaning of floors, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas, including snow and ice removal when needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning and safety procedures, including restroom sanitation procedures.
• Knowledge of safe operation of standard and/or electrical floor or carpet care, custodial equipment, lawn care equipment and ladders.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning duties that include:
• Dry mops and wet mops floors
• Cleans restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas
• Dusts, vacuums, remove trash and clean around equipment
• Clears snow and ice from walkways, driveways and other areas as needed
