Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health in Leland, North Carolina is seeking a part-time cook to implement menus and coordinate food preparation for patients, staff and visitors. The shift runs 11am to 7pm, totaling 20 hours per week.

This role emphasizes nutritious, high-quality meals aligned with dietary guidelines and infection control procedures. You will handle ordering, inventory, and serving, maintain temperature logs, and ensure compliance with sanitation and allergy requirements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years of food service experience in institutions preferred.
• Experience with menu planning and food safety guidelines is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and prepares foods according to facility policies and approved menus.
• Coordinates cooking schedules to serve meals on time.
• Directs staff in food preparation and serving.
• Maintains temperature logs and ensures safe storage of foods.
• Keeps kitchen clean and sanitary and manages inventory.
