Job summary

Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health in Leland, NC seeks a Dietary Aide to support meal service for patients and staff. Work 12:00pm to 8:00pm, five days a week, onsite.

You will assist with meal preparation, cleaning, stocking and safety procedures, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling and timely service.

This role requires attention to sanitation, inventory checks, and compassionate patient interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years in institutional food service preferred.
• Understands safe food handling procedures.
• Ability to operate dishwasher, stoves, ovens, mixers and other related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and stock kitchen wares.
• Assist with meal preparation and service to patients and staff.
• Unload deliveries and stock storage areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Set up steam table and label portions.
• Record dish machine temperatures and keep areas orderly.
