Job summary

Ruby Slippers Restaurant Group in Knoxville, TN is seeking friendly servers to provide welcoming, high-energy brunch service. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver courses, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

This role emphasizes daytime shifts, basic math for handling payments, and teamwork. Prior hospitality experience is helpful, and opportunities for growth, pay increases, and staff discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a POS.

Born from a small restaurant in New Orleans’ Mid-City neighborhood, Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group has grown to operate two brands with over 20 restaurants throughout the Southeast (and still growing!). Job Summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
