    • Athletic Coordination: Liaise briefly with the athletic department or game-day staff regarding performance timing, national anthem logistics, and seating.
  2. Supplemental Support for Program Growth
    • Instructional Assistance: Assist the Head Band Director during peak seasons (e.g., marching band camp, pre-festival clinics, or major concert preparations) by running sectionals or providing targeted feedback.
    • Retention & Culture: Act as a positive role model to help retain students as the program grows, ensuring that the pep and athletic band experience is fun, rewarding, and inclusive.
    • Logistical Support: Assist with equipment setup/tear-down for games and major performances as needed.

  • Experience playing in or directing a high-energy athletic band (marching band or pep band).
  • Valid background check and fulfillment of all district/state safety requirements for supplemental coaches/advisors.
Key Competencies
  • High Energy: Ability to motivate teenagers and project enthusiasm in a loud athletic environment.
