Qualifications

• Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online 'Band Safety' course.
• Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online 'Concussion in Sports' course.
• Current certification in CPR or completion of necessary CPR training.
• Certificate verifying completion of the NFHS online 'Heat Illness Prevention' course.
• Content area related degree or approved equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of essential skills, techniques, rules and safety concerns for the Performing Arts Activity to be coached
• Skill in communicating with all stakeholders
• Skill in communicating with parents and other Performing Arts professionals
• General knowledge necessary to adhere to rules set out by ABODA and Peoria Unified School District #11
