Job summary

Northwest Nazarene University invites applications for core faculty in the APA-accredited Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology. Appointments may range from half-time to full-time, based on needs and qualifications.

The PsyD program is primarily face-to-face on the NNU campus in Nampa, Idaho, with emphasis on teaching, mentorship, and collaboration with students and colleagues. Strong teaching and clinical supervision background preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Ability to teach and mentor doctoral students.
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive practice.
• Ability to contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service.

Responsibilities

• Teaches graduate courses in the PsyD program consistent with areas of expertise and program needs.
• Advises and mentors PsyD students in their academic and professional development.
• Chairs or serves on doctoral dissertation committees and supports students through the dissertation process.
• Provides clinical supervision when appropriate to program needs and qualifications.

Education

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from APA-accredited program
