Job summary

Northwest Nazarene University’s Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology program seeks core faculty to teach, mentor, and supervise doctoral students. Appointments will involve teaching graduate courses, advising PsyD students, and contributing to curriculum and assessment within a faith-integrated psychology program.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Ability to teach and mentor students at the doctoral level.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Commitment to ethical, professional, and culturally responsive practice.
• Ability to contribute to teaching, scholarship, service, and mentoring with core faculty appointment.

Responsibilities

• Teaches graduate courses in the PsyD program aligned with areas of expertise.
• Develops and revises courses and syllabi to meet outcomes and APA accreditation requirements.
• Advises and mentors PsyD students in academic and professional development.
• Chairs or serves on doctoral dissertation committees and supports students through the dissertation process.
• Provides clinical supervision when appropriate to program needs.
• Participates in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation activities.
• Maintains scholarly activity and regular availability to students.
