Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals Woodhull is seeking a licensed psychologist to provide professional services within MOBILE CRISIS, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced urban setting.

The position requires a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program, NYSED limited permit or license, and the ability to obtain full licensure within two years of appointment. Base salary is $106,348 with additional licensing stipend.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctoral degree in Psychology (APA-accredited).
• Valid NYSED limited permit to practice as a Psychologist or license.
• Must obtain full NYSED license within two years of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to individuals and groups.
• Conduct clinical interviewing and test interpretation.
• Maintain records of test performance and treatment results.
• Prepare psychological findings for case histories and reports.
• Consult with psychiatrists, social workers, judges, and others on diagnoses and recommendations.
• Participate in staff conferences and research.
• May supervise interns and other staff.
• May provide psychotherapy and neuro-psychological assessments.
