Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull seeks a psychologist to provide professional and supervisory psychology services across settings, including forensic evaluations, under Assignment Level II with qualified licensure.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and licensure qualifying as outlined by NYSED.
• One year of qualifying experience after completing Doctoral Degree requirements.
• New York State license to practice psychology within one year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsible professional and/or supervisory work in psychology.
• Conduct clinical interviewing and tests, evaluate emotional and cognitive functioning.
• Prepare reports and contribute to clinical case histories and documentation.
• Consult with psychiatrists, social workers, judges and other parties regarding diagnoses and disposition.
• May provide psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments; may testify in court.
