Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a Licensed Social Worker Level III to join the Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) as part of the Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Program (CPEP). The role involves crisis outreach, community-based assessments, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support individuals in crisis outside the ER.

The incumbent will supervise staff, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and facilitate community referrals while delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in crisis or behavioral health settings.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and community-based care models.
• Able to work with diverse populations in Brooklyn and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess severely mentally ill, chemically addicted, and intellectually disabled individuals in community settings.
• Provide crisis intervention and clinical supervision to staff in the Social Work Department.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop appropriate case dispositions and referrals.
