Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager for the Winston-Salem region in North Carolina. You will promote our psychiatry portfolio, execute sales strategies, and apply clinical knowledge to drive sales while building lasting relationships with customers.

Ideal candidates live within 40 miles of the territory and can travel up to 40% domestically. A BA/BS and 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience are required, along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate ability to pass disease/product training exams and maintain annual certification.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Meet industry credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customers.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use digital tools and data insights to set strategy, allocate resources and maximize sales performance.
• Selling: deliver clear messages, probe needs, handle objections and close with action commitments.
• Customer Development: build productive internal and external relationships aligned with goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: gather market trends and apply therapeutic knowledge to identify opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: comply with regulations and Lundbeck policies.
