Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to promote our psychiatry portfolio, drive sales, and build strategic accounts in the Winston-Salem area. The ideal candidate has a BA/BS and 2+ years pharma sales experience, lives within 40 miles of the territory, and can travel up to 30-40%.

Strong communication and account-management skills are essential for success in this role. We offer a competitive salary range ($120,000-$140,000) with an incentive target and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership - Use digital tools and data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales execution, monitor progress and adjust direction to maximize sales performance.
• Selling - Deliver messages clearly, probe needs, handle objections, and close with a commitment to action to drive changes in behavior.
• Customer Development - Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals, incorporating 'total office' account management.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise - Gather and validate key trends, map account linkages, and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities.
• Reimbursement - Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics; address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance - Apply knowledge of regulatory environment, Lundbeck policies, and FDA regulations.
