Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Residency Program Coordinator – Psychiatry to oversee the day-to-day administration of the Graduate Medical Education residency program, coordinating with staff physicians, residents, medical students, and regulatory offices to ensure compliance with ACGME and THCGME policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating resident recruitment, orientations, and meetings; maintaining program databases and generating reports; managing curriculum, events, AV

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• TAGME certification preferred; if not certified, willingness to become certified within two years.
• 2 years administrative experience coordinating a residency or similar program.
• 3 years experience coordinating a residency or fellowship program in an academic setting preferred.
• Ability to travel between sites and locations.

Responsibilities

• Administers the day-to-day responsibilities of the program.
• Coordinates resident recruitment process, including orientations and visits.
• Collects, enters, and reports program data for stakeholders.
• Plans program activities, meetings, and didactics; manages AV and catering.
• Maintains program website and confidential personnel files.
• Ensures compliance with ACGME and THCGME standards.
• Represents the Residency Program Manager on administrative matters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
