Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist PRN to join our behavioral health team in an inpatient setting. The role focuses on primary outpatient psychiatry with coverage of inpatient services as needed.

The position offers opportunities to supervise APPs, supervise medical students, and participate in telehealth and in-person consults across the Piedmont system. Epic EMR experience is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active Georgia medical license or eligibility.
• Experience supervising APPs preferred.
• Experience with ketamine and TMS preferred.
• Experience treating adults and adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and management of psychiatric patients.
• Supervise mid-levels (APPs).
• Assist in inpatient coverage as needed.
• Oversee outpatient clinic duties and call as needed.

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligiblePsychiatrist PRN to join our growing behavioral health team.This is an In-patient position.

Position Highlights

• Primary outpatient psychiatry
• Assist in coverage of inpatient services as needed
• Expected schedule: PRN
• Required to supervise mid-levels (APPs)
• Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont system
• Open to supervision of medical students
• Call (if needed) for outpatient clinic
• Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Active or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
• Experience supervising APPs is preferred
• Strong clinical and leadership skills Provide evaluation and management of psychiatric patients
• Previous experience with ketamine and TMS preferred
• Experience treating both adults and adolescents preferred
