Job summary

Lighthouse Psychiatry Brain Health Center in Gilbert, AZ seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) Level I for our interventional psychiatry program offering TMS, ketamine therapy, Spravato. This is a full-time, in-person role with pay between $18 and $21 per hour and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include clinical support, rooming patients, taking vitals, med reconciliation, assisting with screenings, data entry in EHR, and coordinating with insurance and labs.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification (required).
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and medical terminology.
• IV certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Room patients; obtain vitals; reconcile medications and allergies; prepare charts.
• Administer and score psychiatric screening tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, MDQ, ASRS, HAM-D, MADRS, Y-BOCS, PTSD checklists).
• Support medication management workflows: refills, prior authorizations, pharmacy coordination, and controlled substance documentation.
• Assist with ADHD and cognitive assessments (e.g., QB, Creyos).
• Monitor patient safety, including suicide risk screening and emergency escalation.
