Job summary

Lighthouse Psychiatry is seeking a highly organized Psychiatry Medical Assistant, Level I, to join our interventional psychiatry program offering TMS, ketamine therapy, and Spravato REMS. This in-person, full-time role supports clinical operations and patient care at our Gilbert clinic. Location: 4001 East Baseline Rd Ste 204, Gilbert, AZ 85234.

Pay range: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include rooming patients, vitals, med reconciliation, collecting screenings,

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and medical terminology.
• IV certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Room patients; obtain vitals; reconcile medications and allergies; prepare charts.
• Administer and score psychiatric screening tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, MDQ, ASRS, HAM-D, MADRS, Y-BOCS, PTSD checklists).
• Support medication management workflows: refills, prior authorizations, pharmacy coordination, and controlled substance documentation.
• Assist with ADHD and cognitive assessments (e.g., QB, Creyos).
• Monitor patient safety, including suicide risk screening and emergency escalation.
