Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of experience with three or more years in pharma/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required
• In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen
• Proactive customer-style identification and adaptable selling approach
• Proven track record in selling with solid presentation skills; operates in a matrix environment
• HCIR credentialing requirements to access facilities in the territory; driving license required

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
• Create pre-call plan objectives and post-call evaluation to improve sales performance
• Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships for win–win outcomes
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities
• Share market intelligence with in-field, brand teams and sales management
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to health providers; engage disease state experts
