Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to join Baldwin State Prison in Hardwick, GA. The part-time position offers 10 hours per week with day shifts, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment in a correctional setting.

The ideal candidate has an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, an active and unrestricted medical license (DEA registration), and the ability to credential with our facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Must obtain DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
