Job summary

Merakey seeks a full-time Psychiatric Technician I for our Russellton, PA location. You will work with adult residents in a Residential Program, supporting their treatment plan goals and providing direct care. The role emphasizes safety, welfare, and ongoing growth within Merakey’s programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer experience in a related mental health field required.
• Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.

Responsibilities

• Works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all adult residents in the Residential Program.
• Carries out residents’ treatment plan goals and assists with the treatment planning process.
• Provides support with direct care responsibilities.
• Opportunity for growth within Merakey programs.
