Job summary

Merakey seeks a full-time Psychiatric Technician I for our Russellton, PA location. You will work with adult residents in a Residential Program, supporting their treatment plan goals and providing direct care. The role emphasizes safety, welfare, and ongoing growth within Merakey’s programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months paid or volunteer experience in a related mental health field required.
• Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.

Responsibilities

• Carries out residents’ treatment plan goals and assists with the treatment planning process.

The Psychiatric Technician I position works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all adult residents in the Residential Program including mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The individual participates in carrying out residents’ treatment plan goals and assisting with the treatment planning process, as well as providing support with direct care responsibilities.
