Adventist Health Vallejo seeks a dedicated technician to support psychiatric care in the ICU. The role delivers direct and indirect care under RN supervision, focusing on de-escalation, observation, and patient safety.

You will participate in admissions, medications administration, and care coordination within a 61-bed facility serving various age groups. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with an associate/technical degree preferred, and experience in mental health settings.

Formación

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred.
• Two years' experience in acute or long-term mental healthcare hospital: Preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Uses de-escalation techniques to provide nursing care.
• Observes, documents patient condition and responses to interventions.
• Administers medications per physician orders and coordinates with pharmacy staff.
• Performs admissions/discharges, intake interviews, and orientation as needed.
