Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a Psychiatric Support Staff to join our Grand Rapids clinic. You will provide clinical support to medical staff, including vital signs, charting, and patient communication, while assisting with administrative tasks and data entry.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible support services experience preferred.
• Behavioral health/psychiatric facility experience preferred.
• Registered or certified Medical Assistant required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out of patients and triage calls; support scheduling and clinic operations.
• Take vital signs and document medical history for psychiatric patients.
• Prepare and process medication refills; verify pharmacy information and insurance.
• Assist physicians by creating and editing correspondence and handling records.
• Maintain patient registrations, insurance verification, and data entry in EMR.
