Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Virginia or compact state on hire.
• 1 year RN experience preferred; hospital setting is a plus.
• BLS/CPR certification required on hire; good communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing preferred; diploma acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop an individualized care plan.
• Coordinate with the care team to implement and evaluate care.
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient education at discharge.
• Supervise non-professional staff and prioritize tasks for safe care.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure timely patient throughput.
• Uphold standards of Riverside Health System in daily practice.
