Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a registered nurse to support the nursing unit in Hampton, VA. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director.

Role includes supervising non-professional staff and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care reflecting RHS standards. Qualifications include a nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor) or program graduate, Virginia RN license

Qualifications

RN license in Virginia or compact state upon hire.
1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and apply standards of practice.
Develop, implement and evaluate plans of care with patients and families.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team for safe transitions between care levels.
Educate patients and families; document education and discharge plans.
Complete clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure quality patient care and respond to emergencies.
