Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI, part of UHS, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for psychiatric patients across age groups. The RN will assess mental health needs, develop diagnoses, and plan care while monitoring medication effects and ensuring safety and milieu management.

Qualifications include Michigan RN licensure and a Bachelor’s in Nursing; BLS/CPR and prior psychiatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Michigan
• Experience in psychiatric setting preferred
• Current BLS/CPR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using nursing process
• Assess mental health needs and develop nursing diagnoses and care plans
• Monitor effects and side effects of medications and treatments
• Ensure milieu safety and crisis intervention as needed
