Havenwyck Hospital, a UHS facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric patient care across child, adolescent and adult populations. You will use the nursing process to assess needs, develop diagnoses, plan and evaluate care, and monitor medications for safety and efficacy.

The role emphasizes milieu management, crisis intervention, and collaborative care with the treatment team. A Michigan RN license and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Michigan required.
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred; Non-violent Crisis Intervention preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process.
• Assess mental health needs and develop nursing diagnoses and care plans.
• Monitor effects and side effects of medications ordered by physicians.
• Ensure safety and milieu management; apply crisis intervention strategies.
