Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or Nursing; MSN with education focus preferred.
• 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, 1 year in a psychiatric setting.
• Current Maryland RN license.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, update, and implement nursing education curricula.
• Teach courses and provide training on equipment, supplies, and instruments; coordinates in-service training and workshops.
• Lead in-service trainings and workshops for staff.
• Incorporate evidence-based research into educational plans and policies.
• Provide educational leadership to enhance patient care.
• Mentor nurses and identify growth opportunities and educational needs.
• Promote critical thinking and lifelong learning.
