Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an LPN for psychiatric/behavioral health travel assignments across North Carolina. You will provide nursing care under RN supervision and collaborate with the care team in hospital or community settings.

Requirements include current NC LPN license, 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred, CPR current, health certificate, and ability to meet regulatory standards. Travel between Butner, Goldsboro and Pittsboro locations is expected.

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
