Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric LVN for a contract‑full‑time assignment in Escondido, CA. The role involves applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in a psychiatric unit within a hospital or behavioral health setting.

The LPN must work under RN supervision, collaborate with the care team, and meet licensing and regulatory requirements. At least 18 years old with CPR and health certs as applicable is required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the psychiatric unit using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with RNs and the care team to plan and evaluate patient care.

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current LPN license in state of assignment




• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health caresetting preferred
