Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric LPN for a travel assignment in Dodgeville, WI. The LPN will apply the nursing process and deliver patient care in a psychiatric unit, with supervision from a Registered Nurse and collaboration with the care team.

The role requires a current LPN license in the state of assignment; 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health care experience is preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision/life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health caresetting preferred
