Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric LVN to provide nursing care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital or behavioral health setting. The nurse applies the nursing process and collaborates with the care team under RN supervision to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Based in Kerrville, TX, this travel role is 40 hours per week with weekly pay. Requirements include current LPN license and CPR if applicable; 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health caresetting preferred
