Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse for travel assignments in Kentucky. The role focuses on holistic care across prevention, education, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.

The PMH RN will assess, diagnose, and coordinate patient care with clinical judgment, serving individuals, families, and communities in diverse settings as needed by our clients.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing.
• One year of psych experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.
