Job summary

The candidate must hold a Virginia CNA license in good standing, have basic EHR skills, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing as a Nurse Aide in Virginia.
• Basic computer skills to use Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• A valid driver’s license throughout employment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Physical and mental ability to perform tasks including lifting >50 pounds.
• Experience in psychiatric/healthcare settings preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and therapeutic goals.
• Attend to patients’ problems and concerns and provide interventions for behavior management.
• Promote patients’ coping skills and awareness.
• Document observations and report changes in patients’ status.
• Work with patients who may be verbally or physically aggressive; apply least restrictive interventions.
