Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. in the United States is seeking a registered nurse for the day shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.). The 0.8 FTE role includes every other weekend, with a weekend differential of $5.00, and starts at $36.90 per hour, depending on experience.

You may float to other Behavioral Health nursing units as needed. The incumbent will provide family-centered care, assess patient needs, delegate tasks to LPNs and PCAs, and apply evidence-based practice while maintaining safety

Formación

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire, required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates patient care needs and priorities to assigned LPNs, PCAs, Unit Coordinators, and Allied Health personnel.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and families.
• Engages in the workplace community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and reporting important information and updates back to staff.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
