Job summary

State of Oregon is seeking a Procurement & Contract Specialist 2 – Contract Coordinator for Personal Services Contract (PSK) Agreements in Salem. The role covers development, review, and processing of a range of contracts from initial request to execution, focusing on personal/professional services including architect/engineering and ORS 190 agreements with optional support for other procurements.

Hybrid work options are available; in-office presence may be required weekly for training.

Qualifications

• Understanding procurement policies and rules: state/federal procurement frameworks.
• Contract writing proficiency: draft, review, edit contracts and procurement docs.
• Critical thinking & problem-solving: assess issues and risks; propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of the contractor selection process in compliance with state and federal rules.
• Modify contract terms, funding arrangements and policy interpretations during pre- and post-award phases.
• Evaluate procurement needs and recommend solicitation methods and advertising formats.
