Job summary

Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) seeks a Contract Coordinator to develop, review, and process a broad range of agreements from initial request to execution in alignment with state and federal requirements. The role focuses on personal and professional services procurement, including architect/engineering and ORS 190 agreements.

Work is performed in a hybrid office setting with occasional in-office weeks for training; permanent home location is Salem, OR.

Qualifications

• Four years procurement and contract experience related to the position, two at the professional level such as developing and administering contracts/solicitations.
• Bachelor’s degree and one year of professional-level procurement and contract experience related to the position.
• Any combination of experience and education equivalent to four years of procurement and contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of the contractor selection process in compliance with state and federal rules and policies.
• Modify contract terms, funding arrangements and policy interpretations during pre-award and post-award phases to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate procurement needs and recommend solicitation methods, assess risks, insurance requirements, compensation methods, and advertising formats.
• Prepare, issue and monitor solicitations including addenda and evaluate responses.
• Plan and conduct pre-bid and pre-proposal conferences and interpret procurement regulations.
