Job summary

WMFHA is seeking a Property Manager for Haven Heights Permanent Supportive Housing in Redmond, WA. This role oversees leasing, rent collection, resident files, and compliance with HUD and funding requirements, reporting to the Director of Haven Heights.

The successful candidate will manage occupancy goals, unit turnover, and collaborate with maintenance, case management, and partners to promote housing stability. In-person interviews in Redmond are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of progressively responsible property management experience.
• Experience managing affordable housing, Permanent Supportive Housing, or other subsidized housing programs preferred.
• Experience with HUD, Housing First, or homeless housing programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property management functions for the Haven Heights facility.
• Manage leasing activities including applications, eligibility verification, lease execution, annual renewals, transfers, and move-outs.
• Maintain occupancy goals through waitlist management and timely unit turnover.
• Coordinate unit readiness with Maintenance to minimize vacancy loss.
• Ensure resident files are complete and compliant with regulations and funding requirements.
• Calculate, collect, and document resident rent payments per program guidelines.
• Monitor resident accounts and coordinate payment plans as needed.
• Prepare documentation for internal audits, monitoring visits, and external reviews.
• Generate periodic occupancy, financial, and property management reports.

Education

Bachelor’s degree / related field or equivalent experience

3 years property management experience

Experience with HUD / Housing First / subsidized housing

Experience managing affordable housing
