Job summary

Molina Healthcare is seeking a Provider Relations representative to support health plan provider relations activities, including provider education, site visits, and issue resolution. This role serves as the primary liaison between Molina and contracted providers, ensuring policy compliance and high levels of customer service.

The position involves coordinating with external providers, facilitating training and education, and promoting participation in Molina initiatives such as EMR connectivity

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service/provider services/claims in managed care or medical office.
• Understanding of health care delivery system, including government-sponsored plans.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Engage high-volume plan providers to ensure satisfaction and educate on Molina initiatives.
• Serve as primary contact between Molina health plan and non-complex provider community.
• Collaborate with external providers to educate, advocate and ensure policy compliance.
• Conduct regular provider site visits to meet monthly goals and assess non-clinical service quality.
• Provide training and education to providers and staff as needed.
• Troubleshoot provider problems and coordinate issue resolution with plan stakeholders.
