Job summary

Molina Healthcare seeks a Senior Provider Relations Specialist based in Michigan to support provider relations activities, education, and network development. The role serves as the primary liaison between Molina and contracted providers, ensuring policy compliance and high-quality service.

Responsibilities include coordinating site visits, driving provider education, resolving complex issues, and promoting EMR and portal adoption. Travel within Michigan is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer service, provider services, or claims experience.
• Understanding of the health care delivery system, including government-sponsored plans.
• Understanding of provider compensation methodologies (FFS, capitation, risk, ASO, etc.).
• Experience delivering training and facilitating educational presentations.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Interpersonal skills, including ability to interface with providers and medical office staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable software programs.

Responsibilities

• Engage high-priority providers to improve satisfaction and education.
• Serve as the primary contact between Molina health plan and the complex provider community.
• Educate and ensure compliance with Molina policies; drive issue resolution.
• Coordinate provider site visits and schedule visits to meet goals.
• Provide on-the-spot training and counseling to providers.
• Troubleshoot provider problems and prevent issues with the plan.
• Lead problem-solving meetings with stakeholders, including leadership and physicians.
• Deliver trainings to providers and their staff, including large groups.
• Promote provider participation in Molina initiatives and EMR/EDI adoption.
• Role requires quarterly travel within Michigan.
