Molina Healthcare is seeking an experienced Provider Relations role based in Michigan. You will support network development, provider education, and satisfaction while acting as the primary liaison between Molina and the provider community.

The role emphasizes educating providers, resolving complex issues, and coordinating trainings and site visits. Travel to Michigan sites quarterlies is required. Prior experience in managed care provider relations is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer service, provider services, or claims experience in a managed care or medical office setting.
• Understanding of the health care delivery system, including government-sponsored health plans.
• Understanding of managed health care provider compensation methodologies (FFS, capitation, risk, ASO, etc.).
• Experience delivering training and facilitating educational presentations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Interpersonal skills to interface with providers and medical office staff.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsabilités

• Engage high-priority, high-volume providers to ensure satisfaction and education on Molina initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact between Molina and complex providers (FFS and P4P).
• Educate and advocate with external providers, ensuring policy compliance and portal adoption.
• Troubleshoot complex provider issues across departments, involving senior leadership as needed.
• Conduct provider site visits and plan schedule to meet monthly goals.
• Provide on-the-spot training and counseling to providers and staff.
• Lead problem-solving meetings involving Molina stakeholders and leadership.
• Deliver trainings and presentations to providers and their staff, including large groups.
• Promote provider participation in Molina initiatives (CAHPS, EMR, EDI, portals).
• Support new and existing provider relations team members with training.
