Job summary

Acuity Eye Group seeks an OD & Referring Provider Liaison to develop and strengthen referral relationships with external optometrists and community providers. You will act as a relationship manager, educator, and operational bridge between referring providers and ophthalmology practices to expand access and coordinate care.

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in healthcare liaison, provider relations, or medical outreach.
• Experience with optometry/ophthalmology referral workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider relationships with community optometrists and referring providers.
• Serve as external point of contact for questions, referrals and collaboration.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to referral partners.
• Support growth of referrals for cataract, retina, glaucoma, oculoplastics, and related services.
• Ensure efficient referral pathways and timely patient access.
• Educate providers on surgical capabilities and co-management protocols.
• Coordinate provider education events and market development activities.
