Job summary

Texas Family Care Network is seeking a Quality & Compliance Specialist in Dallas to monitor the quality and regulatory compliance of network providers and those from whom ancillary services are purchased. The role supports joint monitoring, site visits, and performance improvement plans to remediate issues, while upholding a service-oriented culture.

Responsibilities include audits, data reviews, and collaboration with providers to implement improvements.

Qualifications

  • Requires an associate's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in the child welfare industry, quality improvement, or safety and compliance.
  • Requires a valid state driver's license and safe driving record; reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
  • DPS DFPS FBI CBCU Eligibility Determination Child Abuse Clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates joint monitoring process with other SSCCs as applicable.
  • Develops performance improvement plans for network providers.
  • Receives supervision. Communicates with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, or in person regarding program matters.
  • Reviews applications from prospective Network Providers, required documents, policies, and forms. Conducts due diligence screening for performance and compliance history of prospective provider, uploads documentation into the organization's system, and submits all documents to the state for review and approval.
  • Performs all duties within contract, state and federal regulations and company policies. Conducts internal reviews of serious incidents, grievances, and complaints as needed.

Education

Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field
Bachelor's degree, preferred
